Changing healthcare together
Clinical research needs people, patients and volunteers, to participate in a range of studies and clinical trials.
Nottingham has been a leader in Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) in research for many years. Our work with people affected by hearing loss, with arthritis, respiratory diseases and mental health, as well as our involvement of young people, is recognised in the UK and internationally.
We put people at the heart of the research that we do across our hospitals. We offer a range of opportunities for you to share your views, help shape future research trials or to take part in current research trials.
If you are interested in finding out more about the amazing research taking place in NUH and can give a little of your time, please consider volunteering with us and joining one of the Patient and Public Involvement panels.
Taking part can give you:
The opportunities to make a worthwhile contribution to clinical research, solving the health problems of today for future generations
- New skills and the change to take part in learning opportunities
- New people to meet and to find out more about your health and wellbeing
- A chance to be part of world-leading research in the Nottingham
- Information about other opportunities and local events that may be of interest to you
