Medical Device Applications
The department offers a diverse range of patient-centred services, with the common aim of optimising the effective and safe application of medical devices in the delivery of healthcare - by providing expert consultancy (clinical, scientific, engineering, safety, regulatory);
safety management (including incident investigations); systems management; conformity assurance and performance reporting; training provision (technical and clinical user); and general applications support.
This includes providing the NUH Medical Devices Safety Officer function.
