New for 2024, our People First Recognition Awards
This award celebrates growing talent and the outstanding contribution of apprentices or students, or someone new to the Trust who is dedicated to improving themselves or making improvements through training or learning.
As a young lad coming into a predominantly female working environment and looking after acutely unwell elderly ladies with no healthcare experience and no work life experience was very daunting for Liam and initially it showed. However, he is a shining example of not giving up, rolling his sleeves up and finding the confidence to develop into a wonderful healthcare assistant. He will do anything for anyone.
Miyuki has excelled in her role in the maxfax department over the past year, enhancing her administrative skills and receiving excellent feedback from her apprenticeship assessor. Her positive attitude, dedication, problem-solving skills, and willingness to support others have made her a valuable asset to the team.
Laura is nearing the completion of her two-year foundation play specialism degree apprenticeship and has excelled throughout her journey. Her exceptional attention to detail in supporting patient care has earned her the admiration of children and their families.
Katie has successfully developed a new menu that benefits patients with metabolic conditions. Despite her regular responsibilities, she has shown remarkable determination to advance this project, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and a readiness to receive feedback.
Jen is dedicated to providing exceptional education and training for all staff, including apprentices. Her commitment to colleagues’ professional growth is impressive. She fosters a supportive learning environment, described by colleagues as approachable and patient, making her an excellent mentor.
