Learning@NUH

We want to ensure our staff and new starters at NUH have the tools and training needed to do their jobs as well as possible. Learning@NUH are our in-house staff development team. We support staff with their training needs and strive to improve and enhance performance, in order to ensure their colleagues, patients and themselves are safe in their role and work environment.

Some of the services our Learning@NUH team provide include:

  • New Starters Induction and Mandatory Training Sessions/Online Training
  • Existing Staff Mandatory Training Sessions/Online Training
  • Work Experience Placements and Managers Matrix
  • Training Needs Analysis Collation for Educational Leads
  • Development Directory/Central Database of Courses
  • Promotion of Activity/Courses for Bands 1-4 including English/Maths
