What to expect!
•    You will be able to meet the Radiographers who are in a variety of roles to see where a career in Radiotherapy can take you.
•    You will be able to meet the physics and electronics teams and discover more about their roles within the radiotherapy service and the routes into these professions.
•    You will be able to meet some of our radiotherapy students to get an insight into life as a Student Radiographer.
•    You will be able to watch demonstrations of the treatment Machines, CT scanners, Mould Room and see our state of the art virtual reality equipment.
•    You will meet one of the Radiotherapy Lecturers for Sheffield Hallam University and also the Practice Educator for the Department.

Who should attend?
•    Anyone who is interested in studying towards an Undergraduate, Masters Degree or Apprenticeship in Therapeutic Radiography, Medical Physics, or Clinical Engineering
•    Final year GCSE students considering their A Level subjects
•    College/sixth-form students considering different university courses
•    Anyone considering a career change looking into Therapeutic Radiography, Medical Physics or Clinical Engineering

Important Information- Please read
Please ensure you have arrived before 10:00am as an introduction will be given at 10:00am to welcome everyone and you will be allocated into groups. There will be a number of demonstrations in the morning that you will be able to sign up to on the day. There will also be a number of stalls led by different professionals where you will have plenty of opportunities to ask any questions!
To ensure we provide a safe environment, we ask that where possible, to attend this event on your own or with one other person. Please ensure additional people are booked on so that we have an idea of group numbers for the event.
Please also note there will be a cake sale to raise funds for the paediatric patients so if you have any spare change please bring this along to get some delicious treats!
