This award recognises our wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly and generously give up their free time to help improve our services and support our staff, patients and visitors.
Dick is a source of inspiration for both staff and other volunteers. At Main Outpatients, he is known for his eagerness and enthusiasm. His compassionate and engaging nature makes a significant impact on the teams and patients.
Elaine is a compassionate and approachable volunteer in Palliative Care. She goes above and beyond by holding patients' hands and taking the time to listen without rushing. Her ability to reassure patients and offer a caring presence has earned her their trust, making her a valuable member of the palliative care team.
Jackie is a valuable asset to Nottingham Hospitals Charity. Having volunteered in the Charity Hub since 2023, she has showed remarkable dedication during its closure and refurbishment. Her passion and enthusiasm have made her a driving force behind the Hub's reopening and she has also trained and supported fellow volunteers, becoming their go-to person.
Roy has an extraordinary commitment and passion for serving others. His impact within elective orthopaedics and the ward serves as a beacon of inspiration. His tireless dedication to the well-being of both staff and patients is nothing short of remarkable. He offers boundless kindness, compassion, and support, bringing hope to patients during challenging times.
