Clinic information
At QMC, we have a large four-surgery polyclinic where the majority of your orthodontic treatment will be carried out. We also have three side surgeries that can be used for joint clinic consultations.
At Kingsmill Hospital we have two separate dental surgeries, which are run as a satellite service from the QMC.
Our records are now almost completely digitised, allowing us to recall patient photographs, X-rays and models from any computer station in our orthodontic units.
We work closely with the maxillofacial department, which provides surgical treatment for impacted teeth and jaw deformity.
We are also assisted by Mr Neil Poyser, Consultant in Restorative Dentistry, who assists us in the treatment of patients with missing teeth (hypodontia).
These teams are supported by our cutting edge dental laboratory, led by Mr Jason Watson. In the lab they manufacture custom-made devices for our patients, and aid in surgical planning by producing 3D printed models/devices to improve the accuracy of the treatment we provide.
