Registrar, Farhan and the team in resus face a race against time to understand why her heart stopped. Whilst Anita is treated, her mum, Sandra, talks about the challenges they have faced as a family.

As one of the longest serving members of the A&E team, her colleagues and close friends are concerned she may have serious internal bleeding as well as severe injuries to her shoulder and wrist. Whilst the team work hard to stabilize her, staff in the department share the story of the tragic loss of a much-loved colleague in a motorbike accident.
57-year-old Stuart is in Resus having fallen 6ft from a ladder and severely fracturing and dislocating his ankle. Whilst doctors attempt to realign his bones, we hear how Stuart suffered a mental breakdown whilst working as a security guard, which led him to change direction in life.
