Nottingham Children’s Hospital accommodates children and young people from birth to 19 years old
The Children's Complementary Therapy service aims to support children or young patients and their families through their treatment, by offering them symptomatic pain relief and attempting to improve their quality of life.
The service is led by Virginia (Ginny) McGivern, who is qualified as a children's nurse and complementary therapist. She offers training, education, awareness events and advice to parents, carers, nurses and doctors.
