Research Futures
Research Futures is our multi-professional school supporting the development of knowledge, skills and careers for all clinical and non-clinical roles in research.
Our vision is to drive the next generation of scientific discovery and enable our research workforce to realise their full potential.
The Research Futures School co-ordinates and supports training, education and career development programmes for all research roles in NUH, from delivery roles all the way to international Chief Investigators.
Global research leaders
The Research Futures School benefits from global research leaders based at our NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre and NIHR Nottingham Clinical Research Facility. Through these centres of excellence we support and fund innovation in clinical research.
Working at NUH
We provide opportunities for you to include clinical research as part of your role, or to work as part of the Research and Innovation department in dedicated research roles.
We want every health professional to have the opportunity to develop skills in clinical research. As a result Research Futures supports doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, Allied Health Professionals, scientists, research officers, practitioners and managers in careers that contribute to experimental, translational and applied research in our hospitals.
