Outpatient respiratory services

Our Respiratory teams manage a wide range of breathing-related difficulties and lung disorders. The list below is the selection of treatments available for outpatients: 

• Weekly annual assessment clinic
• Weekly general CF clinic with full MDT input and review
• Home enteral feeding service with patients NG/PEG feeding in the community
• Monthly specialist diabetic clinic run jointly with the diabeticians and joint inpatient specialist care for diabetic patients
• Transplant advice and assessment clinics for patients in the pre-transplant phase
• Joint care of bilateral lung transplant patients, and also liver and renal transplant with strong links with Newcastle and Papworth transplant units
• A youth Cystic Fibrosis clinic
• Joint care of pregnancies with obstetrics
