NUH Endoscopy Service boasts 11 procedure rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology, offering endoscopy services for the Treatment Centre, City Hospital, and Queen's Medical Centre Units. Together, we perform 21,500 endoscopies annually.
Our unit conducts a comprehensive range of therapeutic procedures, utilising cutting-edge instruments and accessories in collaboration with specialist Endoscopists and nurses. We take pride in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients, whether they are unwell or visiting for 'well patient' screening.

The Endoscopy Department at City Hospital is located on the South Road of the City Campus, between the South Entrance and Haematology.
Patients and visitors can access Endoscopy through the external entrance on South Road.
City Endoscopy has 5 dedicated endoscopy procedure rooms and also perform procedures within Main Theatres of City Hospital.
City Endoscopy sees both inpatients and outpatients.
Procedures performed:
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Gastroscopy (OGD) procedures
- Trans-nasal Endoscopy (TNE)
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Colonoscopy procedures including Bowel Cancer Screening
- Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
- Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)
- Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD)
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Respiratory Endoscopy procedures including Bronchoscopy, EBUS and Thoracoscopy
The Endoscopy Department at the Treatment Centre is located on the second floor, Gateway H.
Treatment Centre Endoscopy has 4 dedicated endoscopy procedure rooms.
Treatment Centre sees only outpatients.

The Endoscopy Department at QMC is located at South Block, D Floor.
QMC Endoscopy has 2 dedicated endoscopy procedure rooms and also perform procedures within Main Theatres of QMC.
QMC Endoscopy sees both inpatients and outpatients.

- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Gastroscopy (OGD) procedures
- Endoscopic Ultrasound
- ERCP
- Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
- Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)
- Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD)
