Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology Stroke Service

This is an in-patient Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology service for people who have survived Stroke and are being treated on the Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit, Acute Stroke Unit or the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit at NUH.

Referrals

Referrals can be made directly to Dr Karen Treece by internal email using the appropriate Referral Form. Any professional working on the stroke units at NUH can make a referral. Referral criteria includes; the person has a diagnosis of stroke, the person is an in-patient, the person has consented, the person is distressed. There is no service available for out-patients, or for patients who have been discharged.
