Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is calling on NUH staff, as well as faculty and students from our local universities to contribute to a unique photography competition.

The winning images will be showcased throughout the new National Rehabilitation Centre due to open in July 2025, celebrating the theme ‘Motivation’ and the resilience and spirit of its tagline ‘Turning Adversity into Opportunity’.

Why Participate?

Engaging in creative pursuits like photography offers more than just artistic satisfaction, it promotes well-being and gives an outlet for self-expression.

In fact, studies have shown that creative activities can:

• Reduce stress and provide a sense of calm.
• Enhance focus and mindfulness
• Foster a sense of achievement and boost self-esteem.

By taking part in this competition, you’re not only showcasing your talent but also investing in your own creative well-being.
