The Trust is not responsible for any public car parks near or adjacent to the hospital site which are operated by third parties.
Important note: The pay and display car parking machines on site require exact change. You can change notes at the Parking & Security office at Trust HQ on North Road - the office is on the first floor.

Disabled car parking
Parking for blue badge holders is free in designated blue badge spaces (but not within the main paid-for barrier-controlled car parks).
From 7 January 2019 we will be introducing car parking charges for blue badge holders across all car parks across QMC, City Hospital and Ropewalk House.
In accordance with our existing policies, parking will remain free for Blue Badge holders with long-term conditions who need regular, repeat visits to hospital (such as for chemotherapy and dialysis). In addition, Blue Badge holders who are in receipt of certain benefits or on low income will be exempt from this new charge. Patients can find more information about the criteria here: https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/help-with-health-costs/healthcare-travel-costs-scheme-htcs/. Patients providing appropriate evidence/documentation can claim back their travel costs from the Cashier’s Desk at our hospitals.
If there are no official spaces available, blue badge holders may park anywhere on site that is not marked with red lines, provided they do so in a safe and proper manner and they do not impede ambulance/fire engine access.
